This new issue of the Electronic Bulletin of our Foundation has rich contents, among which it is worth mentioning the high priority given to Public Health items, such as Suicide Prevention.

On September 10th, 2006, it will be the Suicide Prevention World Day. Every year, the International Association for Suicide Prevention (IASP), together with the World Health Organization, use this day to draw people's attention on suicide, as one of the main causes of premature death, which may be prevented. This year's theme is "More knowledge, more hope" and interest will be centred on transferring scientific knowledge and research about suicide behaviour into practical programs and activities which may diminish suicide behaviour and save lives.
